National Board

Events & Education Director - Trina Reynolds

Trina Reynolds resides in Southwest Virginia with her family and chickens, living her homesteading dream. She enjoys working with fellow homesteaders both at the local and the National level. Nothing makes her happier than being surrounded by a group of like-minded women, sharing ideas, laughing and learning. Trina spearheads the annual Ladies Homestead Gathering Retreat, coordinating lodging, schedules and meals. She is Cyndi's right-hand-gal when it comes to finding opportunities to share LHG with various farm- and homestead-related groups around the country.

Treasurer - Jo Taylor

Jo Taylor has been on the National Board since 2014. She lives with her family on a homestead in Alabama. She has chickens, a large garden and is passionate about learning the medicinal uses for herbs. Jo also enjoys being able to teach her two darling daughters a better way of life. Being on the National Board has been very rewarding to Jo, not only for the professional experience, but also for the friendships she has made with fellow homesteaders who are eager to share the abundance of their knowledge.

Chapter Development Director - Dee Brown

Dee was among the first to attend the original LHG meetings in Statham, Georgia. She has learned a tremendous amount about being more self-sufficient through her involvement with our organization, and is excited to put down permanent roots on a 5.35-acre homestead near Athens, Georgia. As Chapter Development Director, Dee is excited to help local Chapter leadership establish their Chapters and is a key facilitator in assisting the National Board with the continuing evolution of the organization.

Communications Director - Amanda Stephens

Amanda lives in downtown Bogart, Georgia on less than half an acre with her husband, two boys, an assortment of chickens, dogs, cats, and the occasional Nigerian dwarf doe or two. She is a former attorney and now homeschools her two sons. Amanda has been an invaluable addition to the LHG leadership team; her attention to detail and organization skills have really taken our board to the next level.

And as our New Chapter Liasion, Dee is fundamental in the creation of new chapters around the country. She helps to establish a local leadership team and then walks them through the process of becoming an official chapter of the National Ladies Homestead Gathering.
